Hello, I am Cherri Brown, BA from Mount Holyoke College FP program 2001, MBA from New York Institute of Technology, 2008, and working on the dissertation phase for my PhD in Psychology, Education. I work as a Georgia Neutral, mediation. I have eclectic interests and am doing research in several areas: Women diagnosed with ADD/ADHD after age 45 years, teaching English to non English speaking parents of public school children, wellcare education, political psychology, immigration and Mexicans, and doctor-patient relationships in general and within the oldest-old population.
I begin this blog for purely selfish reasons. I want information that lies outside of the boxes from specialists.
I am also a patient, a wife, mom, grandmom, sister, aunt, and citizen of the United States.
For many years I hosted a CBS affiliate consumer and cooking broadcast, wrote as a food editor for several publications, and am currently working with three colleagues authoring our first nonfiction book. I also work as a full-time graduate student and full-time employee for a major not-for-profit healthcare institution.
My husband and I live simple, though admittedly busy lives. We garden, harvest, and preserve most of our vegetables and a fair share of fruits.
Recently, under the tutelage of three published professors, our student research team and professors submitted for peer-review our findings; we hopefully await positive news. 😉
Enjoy, and if you have questions, always ask ~
